Paella | Spanish sauce bar

Ingredients (in order)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 lb frozen peeled shrimp
  • 1/2 chorizo ​​cut into cubes
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • The Spanish Sauce Bar
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 cup rice (Basmati, long grain or arborio, all rices work for the recipe - cooking time and amount of water may vary depending on the type of rice chosen)
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Preparation

  1. In a skillet, cook the chicken in olive oil until golden brown.
  2. In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook until they are also golden brown (they will produce water, this is perfect!)
  3. Add the red pepper and tomato. This will all release more juice
  4. Add the Spanish sauce bar, it will melt and create a sauce with the cooking water from the shrimp and chicken as well as that from the vegetables
  5. Add 3 cups of water then the cup of rice
  6. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Add the frozen peas, mix and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
