Coral Lentil Dahl | Indian Sauce Bar

Ingredients (in order)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ onion
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • The INDIAN sauce bar
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 ½ cups raw red lentils
  • Naan bread or basmati rice (or both 😊)
  • A spoonful of plain yogurt

Preparation

  1. Fry the onion in olive oil
  2. Add salt & pepper to taste
  3. Add the INDIAN sauce bar
  4. Add 4 cups of water then the red/coral lentils
  5. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes or until lentils have absorbed liquid.
  6. Serve with naan bread or basmati rice and enjoy
